Technical Specialist, Craftsmanship

Job Description

Lucid is seeking a highly motivated Technical Specialist to join their Craftsmanship team. This role focuses on the design execution and perceived quality of Lucid's next-generation vehicles. The Technical Specialist will lead new vehicle development, set sensorial targets, and maintain fit & finish documentation. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review designs, and propose alternative solutions to enhance perceived quality. The role involves supervising cubing events to ensure high craftsmanship levels and evaluating sensory aspects of products. What this role involves:

• Leading vehicle development for Craftsmanship.
• Setting sensorial targets and driving Interior/Exterior development.
• Maintaining Fit & Finish target documentation.
• Authoring & Reviewing Lucid standards and design guidelines
• Reviewing surfaces & CAD design to highlight attribute risks.
• Supervising cubing events and reporting to the executive team.
• Evaluating and improve sensory aspects of our products.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in craftsmanship, perceived quality, or design quality.
• Detail-oriented with design sensitivity for Exterior & Interior Components and Systems.
• Understanding of the Craftsmanship role and impact.
• Experience in driving and negotiating with cross-functional teams.
• Mechanical Engineering and GD&T understanding.
• Structured work approach and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge manufacturing methods
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Product Design.
