Leader of Chief Engineering Operations

Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Leader of Chief Engineering Operations to drive strategic initiatives and streamline operations within the Product Engineering department. This role requires a seasoned leader with a background in the automotive or technology industries, who can ensure the successful execution of projects that underpin Lucid's groundbreaking vehicle lineup. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Chief Engineering team to define and implement the department's strategic vision, goals, and objectives.Responsibilities include:

• Defining and implementing the department's strategic vision.
• Providing standardized dashboards and KPIs.
• Facilitating cross-functional communication and collaboration.
• Developing and leading the operational roadmap.
• Overseeing budget and headcount planning.
• Developing and presenting executive-level reports.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with an MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in product engineering, project management, strategic planning and operations.
• Strong understanding of electric vehicle technology and the automotive industry landscape.
• Exceptional analytical and root causing skills.
• Experience in managing budgets and headcount planning.
