Virtu Financial is seeking a Trading Operations Analyst to manage the clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of trades and positions. The analyst will work closely with traders, finance, compliance, brokers, custodians, and firm customers. They will ensure timely settlement of trades, accuracy of books and records, and avoidance of unanticipated risk.Virtu Financial offers innovative and transparent trading solutions to its clients.   • Managing clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of trades.
  • Working with traders, finance, compliance, brokers and custodians, and firm customers.
  • Ensuring timely settlement of trades.
  • Maintaining accuracy of books and records.
  • Avoiding unanticipated risk to the firm and its customers.
  • Automating and enhancing operations workflows.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a financial institution.
  • Experience managing clearance and settlements of trades.
  • General understanding of broker-dealer relationships.
  • Some programming skills (SQL, Python) or the appetite to learn.
  • Excellent academic background.
  • Outstanding quantitative problem‐solving skills.
  • Team player with a good attitude and flexibility.
  • Ability to communicate information precisely and quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and create solutions.
  • Highly motivated and tenacious candidate.
