Legal Counsel, Customer Contracts

AirTrunk is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Customer Contracts Legal team. Located at AirTrunk HQ in North Sydney, the role involves advising on complex, high-value commercial transactions with global cloud, content, and large enterprise customers. The Legal Counsel will provide strategic legal guidance to support successful transaction execution while mitigating legal risks. This position supports the growth of the region’s digital future.Responsibilities include:

• Managing complex customer contract negotiations.
• Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with customer contracts and data centre operations.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
• Contributing to legal strategies and process improvements.
• Managing regulatory compliance in the data centre industry.

Requirements:

• LLB/Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience practicing law.
• Strong preference for experience in data centre leases and/or colocation services agreements.
• Strong technical drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work independently.
