Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a skilled (Sr.) Electrical Engineer to join their team in Taipei City. The role involves collaborating with the Lucid USA R&D team to enhance design for cost-effectiveness and production efficiency. The candidate will be responsible for working closely with PCBA manufacturers to refine the production process, improve production yield, and offer on-site support as necessary.

This engineer will also partner with the supply chain team to optimize costs and qualify suppliers. Supporting the Lucid USA R&D team with testing requirements is also a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with the Lucid USA R&D team on design improvement for costs and production.
  • Work with PCBA manufacturers and improve production process and production yield, and provide onsite support when needed.
  • Work with the supply chain team on cost optimization and supplier qualification.
  • Support the Lucid USA R&D team in testing needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Electrical engineering technology development
  • Digital and analog circuit analysis and design
  • Familiar with the PCBA design and development, production, bug tracking
  • Power electronic design, development, and production experience
  • Good written and spoken skills in both English and Mandarin
