Associate Vice President, Energy Strategy at AirTrunk

AirTrunk is seeking an AVP, Energy Strategy (APAC) to support its growth. The role, reporting to the VP, Energy & Climate, involves working with leadership, customers, and energy providers.

Responsibilities:

• Developing energy growth strategies across utility, energy transition, and energy procurement verticals.
• Originating and developing power-led DC opportunities with utility teams and energy partners.
• Leading commercial development of utility connection agreements and cost optimization.
• Developing alternative power supply arrangements with technology providers and generators.
• Working with utility regulators to develop supportive policies.
• Collaborating with investors and strategic partners to leverage synergies.

Requirements:

• 10 years of relevant experience in areas like grid and energy project development or energy consulting/financing.
• Strong commercial, business, and energy market acumen for investment and deal structuring.
• Demonstrated capability to lead strategic initiatives and engage with executive teams.
• Ability to lead and develop teams and role model positive leadership behaviours.
• Good understanding of the utility and electricity market in APAC markets.
• High level of motivation to learn and grow in the role.
