AirTrunk is seeking an Associate Vice President, Real Estate to guide the company's expansion in the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region. This role involves working closely with the VP of Site Selection, Customer Solutions Design and Innovation team, and regional Commercial teams to strategically source and manage real estate transactions.Responsibilities:
  • Guiding the expansion of AirTrunk real estate in new and existing countries throughout APAC and Japan.
  • Sourcing and managing real estate transactions.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to qualify locations and drive the transaction process.
  • Managing a team of real estate professionals and consultants.
  • Preparing business cases for executive review.
  • Partnering with commercial team to formulate and underwrite original and alternative structure approach to real estate deals.
  • Providing updates to leadership regarding progress and roadblocks to acquiring or closing real estate deals.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of real estate transaction experience in the Australia / APAC market, with expertise in Data Centre / Industrial sectors.
  • Willingness to travel to other APAC regions.
  • Relevant Bachelor's or Masters degree.
  • Familiarity with data centre assets.
  • Experience with real estate taxation (ideally).
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
  • Experience successfully managing in a matrixed organization.
  • Proficiency in Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
