Pre-Flight Senior Program Manager at AirTrunk

AirTrunk is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Pre-Flight Program Management team. This role is based in Tokyo, Japan. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with all AirTrunk teams to oversee the project management of AirTrunk’s Pre-Flight asset delivery projects. They will assume project management ownership of multiple high-value projects and drive them toward contract execution.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for tailoring bespoke end-to-end schedules, monitoring and reporting against the committed plan, liaising with stakeholders, and assisting in the continued improvement of the programme delivery framework and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the project management of AirTrunk’s Pre-Flight asset delivery projects
• Tailor schedules to handover to Operations
• Monitor, control, and report against the committed plan
• Liaise with project team and stakeholders
• Own and run reporting to the project team, management, and the executive leadership team
• Assist in the continued improvement of programme delivery framework and processes

Requirements:

• 7+ years' project management experience in Japan working with a data centre or large electrical/mechanical infrastructure development or construction company
• Proficient in English (min C1 level) and Japanese (min N2 level)
• Project/Program Management Certification (Prince2, PMI, etc) and/or a bachelor’s degree in project management or engineering
• Exceptional stakeholder management
• Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous situations
• Results-focused and a “get things done” approach
• Prepared to travel across APAC as required
