Finance Manager at CASETiFY

CASETiFY, a leading global lifestyle brand specializing in customizable tech accessories, is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations for their Japan branch. The Finance Manager will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. This role involves working closely with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability, while ensuring financial compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and execution of financial strategies.
• Liaising with the Japan Retail store team to reconcile daily retail shop sales and payments.
• Bookkeeping and preparing financial statements (P/L, B/S, Cashflow statement).
• Managing local tax filings and issues.
• Establishing relevant local standard operations procedures.
• Inventory and cost control, including regular stock takes.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
• Liaising with the Hong Kong headquarters for financial reporting and intercompany transactions.
• Managing relationships with external partners.
• Handling ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in relevant financial roles.
• A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• CPA or CFA certification is preferred.
• Mature, independent, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
• Experience in ERP system implementation is a plus.
• Good analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Attentive to detail and focused on work.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
• Proficient in spoken and written Japanese and English.
• Excellent Excel skills; knowledge of Netsuite is a plus.
