(Senior) Material & Demand Planning Officer

Job Description

A company is looking for a (Senior) Material & Demand Planning Officer to join their Product Lifecycle Management team. The candidate will support managing inventory health by overseeing inventory allocation across the company's global network. This role will help ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and maximize customer satisfaction.

The role involves:

• Collaborating with teams to plan material replenishment.
• Managing and reporting on material shortages and excesses.
• Validating forecasts and assessing their accuracy.
• Supporting data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
• Working with the procurement team to track deliveries.
• Collaborating with product development on new product introductions.
• Driving continuous improvement in material allocation procedures.
• Performing data and root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Assisting with ad hoc projects and new initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience in Retail Stock Allocation, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, or Product Management - FMCG industry and Retail experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP & MRP systems.
• Proven experience with Business Intelligence Tools - Tableau experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skill (e.g. Macro and VBA etc.)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Ability to clearly and effectively convey complex information.
• Passion for production and operations.
• Self-motivated, agile, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
