CASETiFY is seeking a Product Development Manager to participate in product development, from initial concept to market launch. The candidate will ensure products meet quality expectations, are delivered punctually, and remain within budget. The role requires strong individual contribution skills and cross-functional team communication abilities. The role involves:
- Collaborating with the Product Management Team in developing new product/project proposals.
- Collaborating with designers and engineers to develop product design concepts and specifications.
- Collaborating with suppliers and engineering teams to identify and select appropriate materials for 3C products.
- Managing the product development/production process by liaising with manufacturers, vendors and internal teams.
- Developing new suppliers to extend supplier base, establish and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Staying updated on relevant industry regulations and standards pertaining to 3C products.
- Developing and implementing quality control measures to ensure that 3C products meet established standards and customer expectations.
- Cooperating with QC Team to conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.
- A degree in Engineering, Trading, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in Product Development or Sourcing for the 3C category.
- Extensive experience in product development and manufacturing in the 3C industry, particularly with Power Banks, Cables, Chargers, and related products.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques for 3C products, including injection molding, sampling, PCB assembly, and final assembly.
- High commitment to deliverable quality and punctuality.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, be target-oriented, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Detail-minded with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Good command of both oral and written English and Cantonese.
- A position involved in the product development process from ideation to launch.
