Flow Traders is seeking a skilled Trader to become part of their expanding Trading team in Hong Kong. The role is at a leading proprietary trading firm. The company values innovative and creative individuals, offering them opportunities to utilize their abilities fully. The Trader will be responsible for:
- Generating and implementing new trading strategies, considering potential risks.
- Managing trading positions and ensuring accurate capture of essential information.
- Addressing operational issues in coordination with the mid-office.
- Exploring the international market to identify new opportunities and products.
- Contributing, implementing, and evaluating new ideas to optimize trading process systems and trading-related software.
- Actively sharing knowledge and experience with fellow traders and colleagues.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in market making and algo/quant trading.
- A University Degree, ideally in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- Professional experience in options, crypto assets, or EM/Asia credit fixed income (a plus).
- An innovative & creative personality.
- Excellent mental arithmetic and analytical skills.
- A keen interest in Quantitative systems and affinity for / experience with development languages (Python, JAVA, or similar).
