Technician, Battery Module Build

Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HV Battery Build Technician to join their team. This role is crucial for assembling and testing battery packs and modules, contributing to the company's mission of creating captivating luxury electric vehicles. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

The Role Involves:

• Battery Pack and Module assembly
• Cell placement and Module installation
• Busbar and coolant system assembly
• Enclosure sealing, handling and logistics
• Battery Pack teardown, diagnostic, measurement, inspection and reporting
• Operating assembly tools and systems
• Performing basic electrical testing and diagnostics

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a technician
• Excellent attention to detail
• Expertise in using hand and assembly tools
• Experience with electrical test equipment
• Basic knowledge of battery cells and HV batteries safety
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word
