Job Description

Postman is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Trials & Monetization team. The ideal candidate will focus on value realization and monetization, helping users discover Postman's capabilities and guiding them to collaborate effectively. This role involves designing, experimenting, and shipping experiences that drive user adoption, expansion, and upgrades across the user lifecycle. The Senior Product Designer will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams.

What this role involves:

  • Conducting data-driven research to understand user behavior and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborating with Product and Design Manager to create hypothesis-driven experiments.
  • Owning end-to-end design delivery from concept to high-fidelity designs.
  • Working closely with developers to review and perfect the product.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.
  • Assessing experiments based on qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Communicating ideas effectively to stakeholders and leaders.
  • Optimizing existing products for activation, engagement, and monetization.
  • Mentoring team members and maintaining high design standards.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a product designer.
  • 1+ year of experience working in a fast-paced, experiment-driven growth design team.
  • Proficient in conducting user research and building insights.
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator.
  • Ability to design high-quality visual experiences.
  • Curiosity about data and its impact on design decisions.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving project scopes.
  • Growth mindset and continuous improvement of skills.
  • Curiosity about how APIs work and what Postman enables for developers.
