Sr. Engineering Manager, Client Platform

Job Description

Postman is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Build and Release team. This team is responsible for CI/CD pipelines, automation, and backend services to manage the deployment and release of Postman’s web and desktop applications. The Senior Engineering Manager will partner closely with senior engineering leadership to quickly drive initiatives to strengthen and scale build and release operations.Role involves:

• Leading the Build and Release team.
• Managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Automating build and delivery of Postman web and desktop applications.
• Managing the distribution of artifacts/packages and related services.
• Partnering with senior engineering leadership.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in software engineering.
• 6+ years in a management role, preferably within DevOps, Productivity, or Build and Release teams.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, build automation, and developer tooling.
• Familiarity with modern web practices and associated technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional projects with meaningful impact.
• Experience with influencing strategy, setting priorities, and executing a roadmap.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to take ownership of problems.
