Software Engineer (Backend), Product Trust

Postman is seeking a Software Engineer (Backend) to join their Product Trust team. This team ensures Postman is a safe and trusted platform for customers by building security solutions within the Postman ecosystem. The role involves working with a cross-functional team to develop products, build functional prototypes, and contribute to major user-facing features.

The Software Engineer will advocate for better software engineering practices, perform code reviews, and own end-to-end initiatives. Postman embraces a hybrid work model, requiring employees in Bangalore to be present in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

What this role involves:

• Contributing to the development of products.
• Building functional prototypes.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience developing complex, distributed software applications at large-scale.
• Proficient with React.Js, Javascript/Typescript, node.js and a strong understanding of web fundamentals.
• Strong fundamentals in operating systems, networking, and software design.
• Product-oriented mindset and empathy for the users.
