Postman is seeking an Account Development Representative to uncover business needs for Strategic & Enterprise Accounts and build a pipeline for the sales organization. Postman is the world’s leading API platform. The company is headquartered in San Francisco and has an office in Bangalore, where it was founded. Postman embraces a hybrid work model. For all roles based out of San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Bangalore, Noida, Hyderabad, and New York, employees are expected to come into the office 3-days a week.
Role involves:
- Creating strategic targets to identify & generate new & expansion business opportunities
- Qualifying opportunities by understanding business challenges
- Completing detailed research within targeted accounts
- Identifying & targeting strategic new prospects
- Developing superior customer service relationships with prospects
- Updating lead status & all prospect interaction in CRM application daily
Requirements:
- 6 months ‐ 2 years’ experience in business development, sales or related field
- Experience with lead qualification at all levels within organizations
- Ability to work in a high energy, fast‐paced sales environment
- Proficiency with standard productivity tools
