Apera AI, an innovative startup specializing in robotics, AI, and machine vision technologies, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team in Vancouver. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical software documentation and user manuals for the Apera Vue vision system software. This role involves collaborating with the engineering team to develop clear and high-quality materials that support computer vision and robotics software products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for the Apera Vue vision system software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and standardize existing documentation.
• Create tutorials, instructional content, and diagrams to support user understanding.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in all documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in response to product updates.
• Research and implement best practices for technical communication and content organization.
• Assist in developing internal knowledge bases and team training materials.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of technical writing experience in a technology-driven environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with technical writing tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with AI, computer vision, or robotics concepts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
