Bitpanda is seeking a Senior Software Engineer proficient in React to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing new features for Bitpanda's web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to coding standards. They will drive innovation by adopting the latest trends and technologies in the React ecosystem and will be a mentor for junior developers. What this role involves:
- Developing and implementing new features for web applications using React.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Contributing to the establishment and enforcement of coding standards.
- Driving innovation by researching and adopting the latest trends and technologies in the React ecosystem.
- Acting as a technical mentor for junior developers.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Typescript/JavaScript (ES6+) and strong experience with React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with state management, data synchronisation, and other advanced techniques in React.
- Familiarity with popular React libraries and frameworks, such as Next.js, CSS-in-JS libraries (Emotion, Styled Components, etc), Radix UI, Redux, React Query, etc.
- Proficient understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating them with front-end applications.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, along with experience using CSS-in-JS and modern CSS development techniques.
