Bitpanda is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the evolution of their cutting-edge infrastructure. This role involves ensuring seamless scalability and high performance to empower millions of users through innovative solutions.

Role Involves:
  • Developing and enhancing infrastructure using AWS, EKS, Istio, ArgoCD, Terraform Cloud, and Confluent Cloud.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve systems and develop new features.
  • Monitoring, upgrading, and automating systems to guarantee stability, security, and high performance using tools like Datadog, Opsgenie and AI.
  • Enhancing the Terraform codebase and CI/CD pipelines to support rapid feature delivery.
  • Architecting and implementing scalable solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Driving automation and infrastructure as code practices to streamline operations.

Requirements:
  • Over 6 years of experience with Expertise in AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, RDS, EKS, KMS etc.).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Istio and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, and some experience with ArgoCD.
  • Experience in Python, Golang, Kafka is preferred.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL on Aurora/RDS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and the ability to build strong relationships across various engineering squads.
