Bitpanda is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Bucharest, Romania. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the evolution of Bitpanda's cutting-edge infrastructure, ensuring seamless scalability and high performance. He will empower millions of users by leveraging the latest technologies and his DevOps expertise to create innovative solutions.

Role involves:

  • Developing and enhancing infrastructure using AWS, EKS, Istio, ArgoCD, Terraform Cloud, and Confluent Cloud.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve systems and develop new features.
  • Monitoring, upgrading, and automating systems to guarantee stability, security, and high performance.
  • Enhancing the Terraform codebase and CI/CD pipelines to support rapid feature delivery.
  • Architecting and implementing scalable solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Driving automation and infrastructure as code practices to streamline operations.

Requirements:

  • Over 6 years of experience with Expertise in AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, RDS, EKS, KMS etc.).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, and some experience with ArgoCD.
  • Experience in Python, Golang, Kafka is preferred.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL on Aurora/RDS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.
  • Enthusiastic about new technologies and able to build strong relationships across various engineering squads.
