Senior DevOps Engineer (Kick) at Easygo Gaming

Easygo is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on Kick.com, their live video streaming platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions. They will collaborate with development teams to ensure the cloud environment meets high standards for performance, reliability, and scalability. The role involves:

• Optimising existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Architecting and designing scalable, high-performance software solutions.
• Improving and ensuring high standard system monitoring and logging.
• Ensuring systems are secure from vulnerabilities.
• Actively engaging in hands-on coding and development.
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience.
• 6-8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, focusing on scalable system design and development.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (Terraform, NodeJS/Typescript etc).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with complex microservices architecture.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPC etc).
• Experience with AWS native services (EC2, Lambda, Codebuild, Eventbridge).
• Domain experience with technology stacks including AWS EKS (Kubernetes), Terraform / Terragrunt and Datadog / Cloudflare
• Understanding of security best practices and implementation.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
