Job Description
The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) is seeking an Ethiopia Program Manager (EWAS) to manage and supervise the implementation of the Energizing Women & Youth in Agri-Food Systems Program (EWAS) in Ethiopia. This is a contract position for one year, with possible extension.
The role involves stakeholder management, budgetary and financial management, troubleshooting, compliance management, monitoring & evaluation, and reporting. The Program Manager will report to the EWAS Program Management Team Lead and the Ethiopia Country Lead.
Responsibilities: - Implementing the Ethiopia portion of the EWAS program according to the work plan, budget, and M&E indicators.
- Conducting regular program review meetings with partners and stakeholders.
- Overseeing day-to-day project implementation and partner performance.
- Supporting the Ethiopia Country Lead in ensuring adherence to timelines and alignment with program goals.
- Providing input on required reports and ensuring compliance with GEAPP and Mastercard Foundation requirements.
- Managing the program budget efficiently and fostering a culture of integrity and transparency.
- Streamlining communication among program partners and exploring partnerships to expand the program's reach.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in donor-funded program management.
- Extensive knowledge of donor regulations and policies.
- Fluency in English and Amharic is required.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
