Niantic is seeking a Global Marketing Lead for Pikmin Bloom, a game that rewards players for wandering and spending time outside. The Global Marketing Lead will be responsible for leading the marketing communications and planning around all of the live game components of Pikmin Bloom as well as events in real-life.He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategies and tactics aimed at growing Pikmin Bloom’s player base while keeping existing players informed and engaged. As this is a global product, this person will collaborate with teammates from around the world to ensure consistency and accuracy across all regions for any marketing initiative.Role involves:
  • Go-to-market execution for live game marketing campaigns.
  • Identifying opportunities for business growth and taking data-driven actions.
  • Defining new feature launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Tracking consumer awareness, user acquisition, and user retention.
  • Managing the global marketing budget and conducting ROI analyses.
  • Producing impactful real-world and digital experiences for fans.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of marketing experience in IT or entertainment.
  • Experience developing product positioning strategies.
  • Direct marketing, program management, or consulting experience.
  • Paid media campaign strategy and management experience.
  • Social media marketing experience.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams.
  • Partnership management experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for analyzing products, customers, and market dynamics.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Niantic’s mission.
  • Native in Japanese, and business-level English.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment.
