Sr. Engineer, Mass Strategy & Integration

Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Mass Strategy & Integration Engineer to be the main mass control point of contact in Vehicle Engineering. This role involves driving optimal mass into Lucid vehicles across all product lines, utilizing expertise across mechanical disciplines. The ideal candidate will have experience in mass or vehicle integration, a passion for electric vehicles, and excellent problem-solving skills.Role involves:

• Performing benchmarking efforts to understand competitive strategies for weight reduction.
• Leading cross-functional teams in setting system and vehicle mass targets.
• Performing analysis of mass to meet system and vehicle requirements.
• Leading physical verification of weight status.
• Collaborating with engineers on mass reduction efforts, using CAD and CAE optimization.
• Supporting BOM and Change Control release processes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in mass or vehicle integration related efforts.
• CAD experience (CATIA preferred).
• Understanding of weight requirements in various regulatory tests.
• BS or MS Degree required, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
