Senior Illustrator

Job Description

Rockstar Games is seeking a Senior Illustrator to join their team in New York City. In this role, the Illustrator will contribute to a variety of creative projects, working closely with teams across publishing and development studios worldwide. The Creative Services team creates key art, in-game art, branding, and merchandising for Rockstar Games. The Senior Illustrator will be responsible for:

• Developing key art images for packaging, advertising, print, and the web.
• Creating illustrations from concept and sketches to finished product.
• Mimicking pre-existing art styles and developing new art styles.
• Creating branding-based illustrations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Mastery of Photoshop.
• 6+ years of experience in a relevant field (video games, film, or book publishing).
• Passion for contemporary culture, including video games, film, and art.
• Exceptional drawing and painting skills.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, gesture, composition, perspective, and use of color.
• Exceptional and efficient sketching ability for developing illustration concepts.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work in and quickly adapt a variety of art styles.
