Rockstar Games is seeking a Marketing Manager to bolster its presence in Japan. This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact the business by taking a key position in the company. Based in Take-Two Tokyo office, the Marketing Manager will report to the Senior Publishing Director (Asia) and work independently, being supported remotely by the regional team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Japanese gaming market and experience in introducing Western products to it.

Role Involves:
  • Building awareness of Rockstar's brand and products among Japanese players.
  • Creating product marketing strategies tailored for the Japanese market.
  • Collaborating with European and international teams for campaigns.
  • Maintaining relationships with local partners (media, agencies, etc.).
  • Staying updated on Japanese press and social media trends.
  • Establishing connections with the local gaming community.
  • Providing insights on gaming industry trends.
  • Supporting media and community events.
  • Ensuring synergy between marketing and communications strategies.

Requirements:
  • Native-level Japanese and fluency in English.
  • Degree and 5+ years of marketing experience in consumer marketing, preferably interactive entertainment.
  • Experience launching Western brands in Japan.
  • Knowledge of gaming communities in Japan and North America.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Passion for video games.
