Rockstar Games is seeking an Associate Director: Software Engineering to join their Online Services organization. This role involves working alongside leadership to deliver projects that enhance the online environment for players. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advancing culture and entertainment, possess a team-focused approach to engineering management, and be a proactive mentor and communicator.Rockstar Games is looking for someone with experience overseeing engineering teams across product boundaries that work on complex systems at scale, and a proven ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. The role is based in Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.Responsibilities:

• Manage software engineering teams.
• Conduct performance reviews for engineering teams.
• Enable, guide, and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Producers.
• Collaborate across departments to design solutions.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A strong sense of ownership.

Skills:

• Demonstrable ability to drive teams to deliver against key objectives effectively and iteratively.
• Expertise in modern .NET.
• Experience building modern web applications utilizing Typescript and React.
• Experience in ensuring quality by utilizing test frameworks.
• Experience building systems incorporating SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based database technology.
