Senior Front-End Engineer at Horizons

Horizons is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join their Software Engineering squad and build front-end applications that can support the company’s rapid growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and have a passion for efficient user interfaces.

The role involves:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Ensuring a seamless user experience by implementing UI/UX practices.
• Writing well-structured, reusable, and testable code.
• Working in a cross-functional team with FE, BE, QA Engineers, Product Manager, and Designer.
• Optimizing applications for performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborating with product and design teams.
• Contributing to the Front-End Engineering Chapter and improve development standards.
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers.

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end web development, with 2+ years in a Senior role.
• Expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Strong command of CSS and experience with modern styling solutions.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience working with Figma.
• Understanding of front-end security.
• Strong coding practices: modular and maintainable code.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
