Anaplan is seeking a Director of Global Payroll to bring their expertise to its US, UK, and other international payroll teams. The Director will partner with Benefits, People Operations, IT, Legal, and Accounting teams to optimize payroll services and manage risk. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to scale payroll operations and systems while maintaining quality, accuracy, controls, and compliance. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.
  • Overseeing domestic and international payroll processing.
  • Recruiting and developing payroll talent.
  • Developing and executing a strategic plan for global payroll administration.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Leading, coaching, and training the team.
  • Designing and implementing workflows and internal controls.
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll and wage laws.
  • Managing payroll-related financial closing activities.
  • Assisting with special tasks and projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience overseeing multi-state and multi-country payrolls.
  • Experience with Workday systems and ADP WFN.
  • Experience transforming a payroll function for automation and scalability.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism.
  • Hybrid work schedule (2 days/week in the Toronto office)
