Job Description

Anaplan is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their team in Tokyo. This role involves leading the sales activities for the Anaplan platform to large enterprise clients in the manufacturing industry. The Enterprise Account Executive will report directly to the Regional Vice President (RVP) and manage 1-8 strategic accounts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value and drive revenue growth.

Role Involves:

  • Identifying business challenges for strategic accounts in the manufacturing industry and proposing Anaplan solutions.
  • Conducting strategic presentations to VP-C level executives.
  • Building and promoting account plans and opportunity management processes.
  • Utilizing Anaplan's value-based sales methodology for sales activities and accurate business forecasting.
  • Discovering and expanding cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Developing strategic sales plans and executing accurate sales forecasts.
  • Collaborating with sales development, marketing, solution consultants, and customer success teams.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of consulting sales experience with SaaS solutions to Fortune 2000 companies.
  • Experience and track record of selling to C-level stakeholders.
  • Proven success in closing multiple large deals with an annual contract value (ACV) of over 100 million yen.
  • Established executive network with customers and partners.
  • Experience in coordinating and promoting complex internal and external teams.
  • Connections and relationships with department heads to C-level executives in the manufacturing industry.
  • Deep understanding and sales experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Business knowledge and practical experience in supply chain, finance, HR, sales & marketing planning, processes, and decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Native-level Japanese language skills (conversation and writing).
