Dashlane is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. This role involves helping build, grow, and lead teams that build and maintain Dashlane's web extension, used by millions globally. The Engineering Manager will foster a strong ownership and accountability culture, support team members' growth, and recruit new software engineers. They will also lead managerial initiatives, contribute to engineering strategy, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver on the product roadmap.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with required Tuesdays in office along with one team bonding day and an optional third day. Dashlane offers relocation support for candidates eligible to work in the European Union.

Role Involves:

  • Building a strong ownership and accountability culture.
  • Helping direct reports grow as managers, leaders, engineers, and teammates.
  • Recruiting new software engineers.
  • Leading managerial initiatives to improve current systems and processes.
  • Contributing to shaping roadmaps and technical initiatives.
  • Working closely with product and business stakeholders.
  • Defining the direction of Product Experience teams.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management (ideally in a distributed environment).
  • Fluency in English.
  • Javascript/Typescript experience (preferred)
  • Experience with a company at roughly Dashlane's size and scaling up (100-500 employees) (preferred)
  • Experience working in a distributed team across multiple timezones (preferred)
  • You have a BS in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Management, or similar relevant field (preferred)
  • Experience in contributing to and enhancing Design Systems, ensuring attention to detail and maintaining UX consistency (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of SaaS business metrics, including user onboarding, trial conversion rates, retention strategies, and customer (preferred)
