IAG Research Analyst

Job Description

Diligent is seeking a Research Analyst to join their Investigative Analysis Group (IAG) in Guadalajara, Mexico. The Research Analyst will conduct research in English and Russian, utilizing publicly available online open sources and subscription sources to support investigative and intelligence cases for Diligent's clients. This role reports to an Operations Project Manager.Responsibilities:

• Conduct research using online open sources, proprietary databases, subscription sources, and search tools.
• Analyze information for regulatory compliance, investigative analysis, and risk assessments.
• Compile, fact-check, and edit reports using various report templates.
• Assist with final review and uploads of due diligence reports.
• Conduct limited telephone inquiries.
• Mentor new and existing Analysts and Editors.
• Ensure quality assurance by adhering to guidelines and providing constructive feedback.

Requirements:

• Experience conducting research regarding Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABAC), Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money-Laundering (AML).
• Background in journalism, legal services, and research.
• Fluent in English and Russian.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international degree required.
• 0-3 years experience required.
