Staff Technical Writer

Job Description

Diligent is seeking a Staff Technical Writer to develop customer-facing help content, API guides, release notes, and tutorials for its SaaS products. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product managers, design engineers, developers, and subject matter experts to improve the user experience by refining product content. This role involves supporting multiple product roadmaps, managing competing priorities, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality documentation.

The Staff Technical Writer will develop a comprehensive documentation strategy, gain a deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, engaging content. They will thrive in collaborative environments, actively seeking input and feedback from cross-functional teams, and take ownership of their work.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing customer-facing help content, API guides, release notes, and tutorials.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve user experience.

• Translating complex information into user-friendly content.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Technical Writing.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in creating content for SaaS or cloud products.
• Superb written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MadCap Flare or similar authoring tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
