Data Engineer

Job Description

Diligent is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Centre for Global Product Innovation in Budapest. The successful candidate will contribute to building Diligent's new comprehensive Data Platform, which collects information from numerous sources and processes it using tools like ML classification, NLP, and tagging. This platform provides input for the Data Science team and generates reports for clients, all built on native AWS.Role involves:

• Designing, coding, reviewing, and testing features and user stories.
• Collaborating with the product owner and engineering manager.
• Assisting with the production of high-quality documentation.
• Communicating effectively with other teams.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a hands-on development role.
• Experience with Python and common libraries.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud tools and native development.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to contribute to a high-performing agile team.
