Senior Software Engineer (Mobile, React Native)

Job Description

Diligent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Centre for Global Product Innovation in Budapest. The candidate will possess strong knowledge of mobile application development and proven ability to apply effective analysis, design, programming, and testing skills to produce and maintain scaled SaaS software solutions.

The Senior Software Engineer will work as part of an established team, taking ownership of features, driving improvements in software design and development practices, and mentoring junior team members.

Role Involves:

• Assisting with analysis and documentation of technical requirements and user stories.
• Defining and estimating development tasks.
• Designing, coding, reviewing, and testing assigned features and user stories.
• Assisting with creation and maintenance of mobile applications, environments, processes, standards, and tools.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in a hands-on development role at a commercial software company.
• Developed skills in software development languages, frameworks, and technologies (e.g., Typescript, React Native, Swift/Objective-C, Java/Kotlin, Expo).
• Experience with cloud tools and cloud native development, preferably AWS.
• Good written and oral communications in English.
• Solid troubleshooting ability and skills.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM software development.
