Diligent is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead its engineering teams in Budapest. The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading, inspiring, mentoring, and coaching agile delivery teams to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, hands-on knowledge in different disciplines, and great communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the technology vision of Diligent.
  • Develop trusted partnerships with developers, partners, and architecture leaders.
  • Lead complex technical and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive development and designs/solutions.
  • Bring a strong industry perspective.
  • Drive a coaching culture, mentoring and lead by example
  • Create a positive team environment with an open communication culture

Requirements:

  • 5+ years managing a team experience of Software Application/Technical Support.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical ability to resolve technical issues and a deep level of product knowledge.
  • Advocate for the Voice of the Customer.
  • Be flexible, agile and resilient.
  • .NET, ASP.NET experience is a plus
  • Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), CICD, DevOps, SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Strong understanding of design techniques and software principles.
