Diligent, a global leader in modern governance, is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team in Budapest. The Software Engineer will contribute to building SaaS solutions that support Modern Governance. The candidate will be working with a collaborative R&D team using Serverless AWS technologies to build the SaaS platform.
Role Involves:
- Designing, developing, reviewing, and testing assigned features.
- Contributing to technical design discussions and creating design artifacts.
- Implementing unit tests and supporting quality assurance efforts.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Documenting work following company standards.
- Managing personal workflow effectively.
- Taking ownership of Epics and user stories.
- Supporting platform-level improvements.
- Participating in team retrospectives.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and experience in API and web development.
- Understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful services.
- Commitment to writing well-tested, maintainable, and documented code.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and branching models like GitFlow.
