Placements.io is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their team in Taipei. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the company's advertising technology platform. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the Taipei office. The Senior Fullstack Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust and scalable solutions for clients in the digital advertising industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain features for Placements.io’s advertising technology platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Build efficient, scalable, and secure code.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Work in an agile development environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
- Proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks/libraries like React.js, Angular, or Antd.
- Strong understanding of backend technologies and frameworks – Ruby on Rails is an asset.
- Experience with server-side development and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as Heroku, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience working with or integrating AI/ML technologies is a strong plus.
- Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Prior experience in the digital advertising industry or related domains is a plus.
