Placements.io is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to ensure the quality of its software applications. The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts and frameworks. The candidate will validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of the software solutions.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
• Creating detailed test plans and test cases
• Executing automated regression tests
• Conducting performance and load testing
• Creating and executing automated API tests
• Integrating automated test scripts into the CI pipeline
• Generating and maintaining test reports
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Maintaining documentation of test scripts and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
• Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
