Lucid Motors is seeking a Service Technician in Toronto to diagnose, maintain, and repair their luxury electric vehicles. The Service Technician will embody a passion for sustainable transportation and creatively solve problems. The role requires ASE certifications within 6-8 months of hire.
- Repair basic and major mechanical issues
- Perform electrical and mechanical diagnosis
- Maintain knowledge of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general electric vehicle systems
- Follow correct repair order documentation procedures
- Work with software to document customer vehicle interactions
- Communicate and collaborate with the service team and customers
- Demonstrate and teach technical skills
- Work remotely and support mobile service team as needed
- 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician
- Previous experience with EV/HEV diagnosis and repair
- Red Seal 310S
- Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems
- Customer facing experience with excellent communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software
- EPA 609 Certification
- Valid driver license
