Job Description

Podium is seeking an Account Manager in Melbourne, Australia, to drive growth and adoption of small business accounts. The Account Manager will work cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, finance, and strategy teams. The primary focus will be on upselling, cross-selling, building multi-stakeholder relationships, and strategic account management.

The Account Manager will be engaging with many teams across Podium. They will be responsible for identifying long-term growth opportunities and aligning customer goals with Podium's offerings.

Role involves:

  • Spearheading the growth & adoption of small business accounts at Podium
  • Uncovering new opportunities from existing customers and target accounts
  • Building deep relationships with a portfolio to best understand needs and provide value-based solutions
  • Providing timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance
  • Conducting warm handoffs in partnership with AE’s as new customers join the portfolio
  • Being a product expert and understanding all setup requirements for each product and application

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of CX/CS experience, ideally with some experience in closing revenue
  • Deep understanding of the marketing technology industry and key players
  • Some account management experience - identifying at-risk customers, driving product adoption and usage, activating existing clients
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing and evolving work environment
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Great problem-solving skills, taking a consultative approach to finding the best solution
