Job Description
Podium is seeking a Customer Success Manager I (SMB) to own the success and health of a segment of its small business customers. The Customer Success Manager will develop strategies to increase engagement and delight customers while mitigating churn. They will partner with customers throughout their Podium journey, ensuring they get the most out of Podium’s Interaction Management platform and deliver their business goals.

Role Involves:
  • Serving as the primary post-sales point of contact for small business customers.
  • Driving adoption and utilization of Podium products.
  • Helping customers achieve maximum value from products and achieve business objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Securing renewals and driving customer retention.
  • Conducting regular check-ins to assess customer satisfaction.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and escalations.
  • Developing strong relationships with customers and becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Relaying feedback to product and engineering teams.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years in a customer-facing role (Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, or Client Services Manager), preferably in the software or SaaS industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Technically adept and able to grasp complex software concepts quickly.
  • Empathetic and customer-centric mindset.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction and retention goals.
  • Collaborative team player.
