Legal Operations Associate at Podium

Podium is seeking a Legal Operations Associate to enhance the operational efficiency of its Legal team. This role involves managing legal processes, systems, and tools, while helping develop and maintain legal workflows and resources. The Legal Operations Associate will report to the General Counsel and work across the company, supporting a small legal team.

What this role involves:

• Optimizing legal workflows and building playbooks.
• Supporting the administration and maintenance of key legal tools.
• Assisting with the review, preparation, and management of agreements.
• Coordinating with teams such as Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Procurement, Product, and Security.
• Conducting research on various legal topics and assisting in drafting and maintaining internal templates, playbooks, policies, and training materials.
• Tracking key compliance-related obligations and deadlines.
• Providing general administrative support to the Legal team.
• Assisting with ad hoc projects, including corporate governance support, audits, privacy initiatives, and litigation support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Law, Pre-Law, Business Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of legal operations experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment for a U.S. based company.
• Experience using Salesforce and contract management software (e.g., Ironclad, Zip, Jira, SimpleLegal, Thomson Reuters).
• Proven ability to create, refine, and scale legal processes, policies, and systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Working knowledge of go-to-market processes, contract negotiation, and contract management.
• Geographically located in Islamabad, Pakistan and must come into the office
• Ability to work U.S. Business hours
