Podium is seeking an Account Executive in Melbourne, Australia, to drive new business acquisition. The Account Executive will own the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing deals, targeting SMB and mid-market clients. They will collaborate with the SDR, CSM, and Marketing teams to achieve monthly revenue goals.

Role Involves:

  • Closing new business deals through solution-based selling to SMBs and mid-market clients
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure
  • Collaborating with the SDR team to generate qualified leads
  • Self-sourcing leads through outbound calls and emails
  • Exceeding monthly revenue targets
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce

Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years' of B2B closing experience in a high-velocity role (tech sales preferred)
  • Proven experience selling to SMBs (experience in Retail, Auto, Medical, Home Services, or Professional Services is a plus)
  • Proven success prospecting into new markets and generating leads
  • Ability to navigate quick sales cycles
  • Experience carrying and exceeding monthly revenue targets
  • Exceptional presentation and pitching skills
