Schonfeld Strategic Advisors is seeking a Core Operations Associate to join their team in Miami, FL. The role offers a unique opportunity to work within a global multi-manager platform, collaborating with experienced Operations professionals to implement best-in-class operational procedures.

The Core Operations Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, contributing to the smooth and efficient functioning of the team.

What this role involves:

• Performing T+1 reconciliations between internal systems and Prime Broker for various financial instruments.
• Reviewing external fund administrators’ T+1 reconciliations.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and automate processes.
• Working on strategic initiatives to streamline workflows and achieve efficiencies.
• Defining operational procedures and recommending process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of working experience in the Hedge Fund industry.
• In-depth product knowledge on financial instruments.
• Experience in performing reconciliations.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel.
