Eucalyptus is seeking an Engineering Tech Lead to lead the Product Growth team in Sydney, Australia. This role involves developing and running hypothesis-led experiments to optimize acquisition and purchase funnels. The Engineering Tech Lead will guide a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and deliver impactful improvements to accelerate business growth.Responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing high-performing engineers.
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and commercial leaders.
- Owning delivery management and participating in planning.
- Ensuring the team can effectively own and operate components within their domains.
- Collaborating with other managers and leading engineering-wide initiatives.
- Designing and evolving an effective engineering team.
- Experience as a software engineering manager, technical lead, or senior engineer in a growth-focused team.
- Familiarity with growth strategies, experimentation, data analytics, and A/B testing.
- Experience leading and/or managing engineers and providing constructive feedback.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Experience managing competing priorities and working with product managers and designers.
- Passion for inspiring and leading teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as React Native, React, Typescript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, GRPC, or Go.
