Pharmacist

Job Description

Eucalyptus is seeking a Pharmacist for a casual, onsite role in Geebung, Queensland. Eucalyptus is an Australian digital healthcare company focusing on improving patient experience through technology and innovative approaches. The Pharmacist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and safe medication dispensing, advising patients, and collaborating with the pharmacy team.

The Pharmacist will report to the Head Pharmacist and Pharmacy Site Coordinator.

What this role involves:

• Ensuring accurate dispensing of medicines.
• Providing advice and support to patients.
• Collaborating with the dispensary team.
• Identifying and addressing issues to improve patient safety.
• Offering constructive feedback to dispensing staff.
• Monitoring accuracy and leading pharmacy assistants.
• Overseeing the safe supply of medications.
• Performing stocktakes and other pharmacy duties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy.
• Current AHPRA registration as a registered pharmacist in Australia.
• Experience in online or telehealth settings (desirable).
• Strong clinical pharmacy skills and team leadership experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail and adaptability in using dispensing software (Z-Software).
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to manage responsibilities autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills.
