Public Policy Lead, UK

Job Description

Eucalyptus is seeking a Public Policy Lead in the UK to drive the adoption of Juniper into the NHS and elevate Juniper's profile with the aim of expanding access to weight management care for the UK public. This role involves securing NHS commissioning opportunities and enhancing Juniper’s presence throughout the UK public health system and policy landscape.

The Public Policy Lead will work directly with the Head of International Expansion, with key stakeholders being the Global Head of Public Policy and Regional GM for Europe.

What this role at Eucalyptus involves:

• Securing multiple NHS commissioning opportunities.
• Scoping, sizing, and prioritising potential NHS and ICB contract opportunities.
• Maintaining existing relationships across ICBs, HINs, and NHS England.
• Leading the preparation of tender applications.
• Elevating Juniper’s profile throughout the UK public health system and policy makers.
• Preparing and maintaining a stakeholder map.
• Meeting regularly with government and peak body stakeholders.
• Keeping abreast of possible regulatory changes.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience, with 3+ years working within or in partnership with the NHS.
• Understanding of NHS research and commissioning processes.
• Existing professional relationships in the NHS sector.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable with numbers and synthesising data into clear insights.
• Expert brand ambassador and relationship builder.
• Strong organisation and project management skills.
