Forma.ai, a Series B startup, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join their Customer Operations team in Costa Rica. The Data Analyst will configure commission data structures, create insightful reports, and work with data in various formats using Excel and SQL while managing databases. This role involves assisting with ongoing operations for existing customers, implementing new features, and supporting onboarding activities for new customers. The analyst will also design projects, build automated workflows, and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the ongoing operations for a portfolio of existing customers and implement new features
- Support onboarding activities for new customers
- Design projects including analysis, financial modelling, project planning, customer workshops
- Build and test automated workflows, processes and reporting capabilities
- Build and maintain working relationships directly with customer stakeholders
- Work with Forma.ai’s Product and Engineering teams to articulate customer feedback
Requirements:
- Preference for Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative-focused, analytical role
- Proficiency in Excel, with a working knowledge of SQL; experience with databases is a plus
- Advanced English proficiency required as this is a client facing role
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
- Solid analytical skills and ability to present reports effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
